Our people go the extra mile.

Victims Of Assault

A person might sustain an injury as a result of a violent crime committed by another person.  In such a case, you may be able to obtain compensation, even if the offender is not identified, caught or punished.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) is responsible for providing  compensation to those who have been injured as a result of a violent crime.

We at JCP Solicitors specialise in helping victims to seek compensation from the CICA and treat each individual case with the care and understanding that you as a victim deserve.

There are strict time limits for applying to the CICA – an application must be submitted within 2 years from the date of the assault.  The victim (or somebody on their behalf) must inform the Police of the incident as soon as possible, but certainly within 14 days.

So don’t delay.

So if you think you may have a claim, call now and we will arrange a free, no obligation face to face or telephone interview with a member of our highly experienced and friendly team so that you can be aware of your options.

"In my opinion I would not change anything at JCP Solicitors the service for me was excellent….I would recommend JCP Solicitors…, in fact I have already done so to friends and neighbours."
