#challengehayley from London to Paris

Everyone here at JCP Solicitors is so proud of our CEO, Hayley Davies, for taking on the challenge of a lifetime (#challengehayley) – three exacting adventures – in a bid to raise £40k for Tŷ Hafan. 

Hayley is making great progress, having already reached the pinnacle of the 3 highest peaks in Wales in June.

For her second adventure, Hayley and her team “The Cycle Chicks” will saddle up for a marathon 320 mile bike ride from London to Paris which officially begins today.

As well as Hayley, The Cycle Chicks group consists of Caroline Cooper & Denna Exon from Solo Group, Sue Devane of Parc Y Scarlets, Rachel Ball from Broomfields, and Charlotte Wright, owner of Nouvelle Hair Design.

This cycling challenge will see the riders arrive in the City of Light in time to sit back and watch the pros of the Tour de France cross the finish line after completing their own two-wheeled challenge.

The 4-day journey, accompanied by around 175 other riders, sets off from Croydon, down through the beautiful Kent countryside, up over the challenging hills of the North Downs before heading down to the famous white cliffs of Dover. Following a ferry ride to Calais, the riders press on to Northern France passing the Canadian War Memorial in Vimy Ridge before making their descent to the town of Lens.  From there they travel via the river Somme then ride on to Compiegne. The final day of cycling brings a big push for Paris finishing at the timeless Eiffel Tower.
