Kirsty Meech, Injury Services team member and Associate Solicitor at JCP Solicitors has gained accreditation of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme.

The voluntary scheme acknowledges and verifies the accomplishment and specialisation of individual Solicitors. A solicitor will only be initially accepted to the scheme if they can meet the eligibility criteria and prove their competence.

Kirsty has worked within the field of Personal Injury since she qualified in 2010, specialising in Personal Injury claims, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, accidents in the home and other highways claims.  Kirsty said:

“Currently those who have had been unfortunate enough to suffer an accident or injury are inundated with marketing from either solicitors or claims management companies who advertise for example on TV, by text message or by email. It is very important that clients look for these types of accreditations to help them find the lawyers who can provide the best possible level of service and expertise, particularly when the accident is very serious.”

The Law Society currently offers 15 accreditation schemes, and state on their website the following:

“The schemes promote high standards in legal service provision and ensure that clients are easily able to identify legal practitioners with proven competency in given areas of law. They also ensure that scheme members maintain relevant standards of competency and expertise by means of periodic reselection, re-accreditation and re-authorisation.” https://www.lawsociety.org.uk/support-services/accreditation/
