A Good Day For Team Celebrations
- AuthorChris Davies
Around 4pm today our CEO, Hayley Davies will hand over her 2013 title of South Wales Evening Post Swansea Bay Woman of the Year to the 2014 winner.
However, not only will this coveted title be passed from a JCP Partner to the next worthy winner, but we get to cheer and shout for another of our team members as the Head of Residential Property, Emma Gilroy, has been shortlisted in this year’s Professional Woman of the Year category.
Emma first joined JCP as a trainee solicitor in September 2006 and upon qualification in September 2008, she became a solicitor in the Commercial Property Department. In 2011 Emma was promoted to her current role of Head of Residential Property, and as a result of her success in developing and expanding the team, was made up to Partner in July 2013.
Emma manages the Residential Property team across the offices in Swansea and West Wales. Her role includes having prime responsibility for relationship management with panels, estate agents, lenders and other existing major providers of work, as well as the development of new business opportunities for the teams and the supervision of a large conveyancing and remortgage caseload. Since stepping up to her role as Partner, Emma has grown the team’s turnover by 100% and has provided career development opportunities and job security in both Swansea and West Wales.
These awards look to celebrate the achievements of business women in the area and the full shortlist, which can be found in today’s South Wales Evening Post, is certainly full of inspirational and determined candidates.
Good luck Emma, we are all behind you.
