A Director at JCP Solicitors and Head of Medical Negligence, Matthew Owen has been made a Business Owner with the company.

A Member of the Law Society Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel, Matthew’s specialism in serious cases involving brain injury and spinal cord injury makes him a particularly valuable member of the business.

As well as receiving cases referred to him from other solicitors who do not specialise in this area, Matthew also receives referrals from a number of organisations and charities that rely on his knowledge and reputation in this area of the law.

A fluent Welsh speaker, he was first appointed a Salaried Partner at JCP Solicitors in 2008.

Keith Thomas, Head of Catastrophic Injury and one of the company’s founding partners said:  “Matthew is a real asset to the business, it has been an honour to work alongside Matthew as he developed his career here at JCP, and I’m delighted to see him cement his position alongside the other 9 owners of the business.

“Medical Negligence can be a complex and long process and it is important to have the required expertise, knowledge and resources that Matthew has at his fingertips.

“On a personal level Matthew takes the extra time to explain the Medical Negligence process to his clients, and he can be very proud of the caring, trusted and committed relationships he builds with his clients, and the lengths he goes to in ensuring that their best interests are protected.”
