The long-term news anchor and regular BBC Radio Wales broadcaster is a lifelong champion of this lovely part of the country, and his recent book release, A Year in Pembrokeshire, is, he says, 'a love story in prose and pictures.'

Jamie shared his fascination with the region with the gathered audience of business people, as well as stories from his long broadcasting career.

The regular business lunches are sponsored by JCP Solicitors, Development Bank of Wales, Thomas Carroll and Ashmole & Co, and are designed to bring local business people together for some enjoyable networking.

At this event, £451 was raised in aid of one Wales' leading heart charities, Welsh Hearts, allowing the charity to install a defibrillator near JCP Solicitors' office in St Davids.

Simon Lawrence from Thomas Carroll said: 'We were pleased to welcome Jamie Owen to our Christmas gathering and to hear about his passion for beautiful Pembrokeshire, which we all share. The regular Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Business Lunches are a great way for like-minded people to meet and enjoy some networking opportunities in a relaxed and informal setting.'

Ian Badham, from Ashmole & Co, said: 'This Christmas event brings to a close a very enjoyable year of networking, insights and learning opportunities with the Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Business Lunches. I would encourage other business people to join us in 2019 - you will receive a warm welcome.'

The Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Business Lunches are held four times a year and anyone who wants to attend should contact Christina Coates on 01792 529630 or email christina.coates@jcpsolicitors.co.uk.
