Having enjoyed much success over the years with its apprenticeship scheme, JCP Solicitors has launched its own Learning and Development Academy, to nurture and grow the best talent for the business.

JCP has one position left within the Academy, with recruits set to work within the Business Support Team at the firm, while working towards a Level 2 in Business and Administration in the Swansea office.

Denise Warlow, Business Resources Manager at JCP Solicitors said: “We are very pleased to launch the JCP Learning and Development Academy and we look forward to welcoming some bright new recruits through our doors. We have a long history of taking on apprentices, with a very high percentage staying on with JCP to further their careers. In fact, many of our apprentices have made JCP their ‘home’ and have gone to develop careers in different teams of the business from Marketing to Accounts to the delivery of legal services such as conveyancing and personal injury. We have seen first-hand the many benefits of having team members on board who have made a commitment to JCP from early on in their careers, and who have grown their skillset and their experience under JCP guidance. The fact that so many of our long standing team members have come through the ranks of JCP is one of the reasons the business has a cohesive, supportive, family feel, and a strong ethos – we are all committed to doing things the ‘JCP way’.

“As well as those looking for a change in career direction, the Academy could provide meaningful employment and a clear path for students about to take their first steps in the working world and who are keen to work for a well-respected company with a clear vision for the future. No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be given, but we are looking for confident individuals who enjoy interacting with people. The Academy will allow us to nurture ambitious recruits, so they can take advantage of key roles as they open up within the business.”
