Sean Boucher

Director & Head of Lifetime Planning - West Wales

From Carmarthen and based in JCP’s Carmarthen office, Sean enjoys working with JCP’s West Wales client base and the variation of matters. With a specialist knowledge in non-contentious Wills and Probate, he focuses on preparing documents during a lifetime that provide peace of mind and the protection of assets. He also deals with the administration of estates of all sizes.

Sean has acted for a wide range of clients, including the farming sector, well-known artists, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals.

Sean is a full member of STEP - a global professional body comprising of lawyers, accountants, trustees and practitioners that help families plan for their futures. Full members are known as TEPs, and are internationally recognised as experts in their field, with proven qualifications and experience.

Sean has a long career ahead of him within the Law. He is an impressive legal professional with an eye for detail and his own strong network of professional contacts. He has a solid reputation in the Carmarthen area and is helping to spearhead the continued development of the business in West Wales.

As part of our team dedicated to helping our agricultural clients with business and personal legal needs, Sean assists with succession planning and the preparation of Wills. We believe that our teams’ combined experience within the rural economy is without equal in Wales.

Sean uses his strong knowledge in this sector to advise farming families, in particular on Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR) which can often reduce an otherwise hefty Inheritance Tax bill.

Sean has a strong knowledge in this niche sector and can often be found on the JCP stand in various agricultural shows or running seminars and workshops on the subject.

Sean first joined JCP as a Trainee Solicitor in 2013 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 working in the area of Wills and Probate since this time.

He now assists with mentoring and training of junior staff and his relaxed and approachable manner makes him very popular with other team members and clients alike.
