Rhian Jervis

Director & Deputy Head of Residential Property

Rhian's experience and specialisation in the field of residential property is welcomed both by her clients and her colleagues alike. Rhian takes an active marketing role and is a point of contact for many local estate agents. Her experience and her warm, approachable manner has made her an invaluable member of the growing residential property team.

Rhian enjoys regular client contact, and is proud of the strong relationships her and the team have with local estate agents and new build developers. When you deal directly with the public at a time when they are buying or selling a property,  you are interacting with them at what can be a stressful, and often an emotional, time in their lives. Rhian is an advocate of being approachable and reliable, helping things to go as smoothly as they can.

Rhian undertook her law degree in Swansea University, graduating in 2003. After taking a year out from her career pursuits, she joined the firm in 2004 as a paralegal  Having decided that she wanted to further her career in law, JCP funded Rhian's Legal Executive course. Rhian's organisational skills allowed her to work full time and study from home whilst bringing up her two daughters.

Rhian qualified as a Legal Executive in 2012 and has worked in the area of residential conveyancing since 2006. JCP is committed to growing and nurturing staff, and as testimony to that, Rhian became team leader in 2016 and then a Director in April 2018.

Rhian is accredited by the Welsh Government as a Conveyancer for Help to Buy Wales, The Welsh Government’s Help to Buy Scheme.

Rhian is also on the committee of Type 1derful, a local charity which offers support for families of children with Type 1 diabetes in the Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend areas. Using social media as a support page for parents, it also allows the charity to arrange activities, days out and weekends away for the children and families. This provides a great way for the kids to get together to meet others dealing with the same condition, and also for families to get to know one another and support each other.

Rhian enjoys camping with her family, spending time with friends, walking her dog, and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
