Gemma Weston

Gemma joined JCP in January 2022 as a Legal Assistant within our Court of Protection team. Gemma holds a DipHE in Law with Distinction and is set to graduate with the full LLB (Hons) in the summer of 2024.

Gemma has previously worked as a Senior Support Practitioner, supporting clients with additional needs/ brain injuries. Gemma used to assess referrals from social services and the Local Authorities in Swansea and NPT for support sessions in the community and at home. This experience greatly benefits her role at JCP, not only with the administrative duties but also with experience of working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams to meet the best needs of the client and their families. Gemma enjoys the care and compassion this role entails.

Gemma has achieved Level 3 qualifications in Child Development and Child Psychology.

Gemma has a big family, she is a mum to four and step-mum to three, so spends a lot of her spare time playing taxi taking the children to their extra-curricular activities! Other than that, Gemma likes hiking with her dogs Billy and Frank and studying for her degree.

Gemma is a Welsh speaker.
