Emily Wellington

Emily is a Trainee Solicitor in the Agricultural and Property Litigation team, advising clients in relation to agricultural queries including, tenancies, succession planning, common land and general rural disputes. She also assists in the wider property litigation team, acting for a varied client base in a number of property litigation aspects including public and private rights of way, landlord and tenant disputes, easements, covenants, boundary disputes and adverse possession claims.

Emily joined JCP in 2022 and commenced her training contract in September 2023. Having graduated in 2019 from Cardiff University with a degree in Law with Professional Placement, she then went on to study at The University of Law and graduated in 2021 with a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course with combined Masters. Throughout her degree and LPC, Emily worked part-time at several Legal 500 firms gaining experience in litigation, white-collar crime, healthcare regulatory, insurance and commercial property. Emily joined JCP to work within the Rural team combining both her litigation and property experience.

Emily is passionate about delivering excellent client care and enjoys being part of the agricultural community in Wales.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys long country and seaside walks with her family. She also loves cooking, running, and supporting her local rugby and cricket teams. Emily is also a Welsh learner.
