Emily is an Associate Solicitor at JCP in the Recoveries and Professional Liability department. The department undertakes a range of work for a variety of commercial and non-commercial clients. This includes recovery of secured and unsecured business liabilities for banking and building society clients, personal debt recovery, insolvency based litigation, general property litigation and professional negligence.
Emily has worked at JCP since September 2013, initially as a Paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing department following which she commenced her Training Contract in September 2016. As part of her training, Emily has spent time in the Lifetime Planning, Corporate and Recoveries and Professional Liability teams. Emily spent 12 months in the RPL department where she qualified as an Associate Solicitor in September 2018 and continues to work in the area of Commercial Debt Recovery.
After graduating with a degree in Law and Criminology from Swansea University in 2012, Emily worked in Australia and travelled across South East Asia before joining JCP. Emily completed the Legal Practice Course part-time at Swansea University whilst working for the firm.
Out of work Emily enjoys yoga, hockey, skiing and travelling.
