Emily is an Associate Solicitor at JCP in the Recoveries and Professional Liabilities team. The department undertakes a range of work for a variety of commercial and individual clients. This includes recovery of secured and unsecured business liabilities for banking and building society clients, personal debt recovery, insolvency based litigation, general property litigation and professional negligence. Emily works closely with Sophie Thomas to advise fixed charge receivers in respect of their appointment, duties and disposal of assets.
Emily qualified as an Associate Solicitor in the Recoveries and Professional Liabilities team in September 2018, having already spent 12 months in the team as part of her training contract.
Emily has worked at JCP since September 2013 and before qualifying as a solicitor Emily gained experience in Conveyancing, Lifetime Planning and Corporate Commercial.
After graduating with a degree in Law and Criminology from Swansea University in 2012, Emily worked in Australia and travelled across South East Asia before joining JCP.
Out of work Emily enjoys yoga, skiing and travelling.
