Emily Summer

Emily is currently on maternity leave.
Emily has a range of experience including commercial debt recovery, insolvency and property-related matters acting for banks and building societies, fixed charge receivers, companies, insolvency practitioners and private clients (both creditors and debtors).

Emily has over three years’ experience in commercial debt recovery which includes acting for a high street bank in the recovery of secured and unsecured commercial liabilities and advising fixed charge receivers on their appointments, duties and property-related matters including the sale transaction.

Emily initially joined JCP Solicitors in 2013 in the Conveyancing department and qualified as a solicitor in September 2018.

In 2021 Emily spent 7 months at a Top 60 UK Law Firm acting for local authorities assisting them with the recovery of council tax arrears and national non-domestic rates. Emily re-joined JCP Solicitors in February 2022.

Outside of work Emily enjoys yoga, skiing and travelling.
