Cherrie Powell

Based in Caerphilly, Cherrie is a Legal Advisor specialising in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney within JCP’s Lifetime Planning team, assisting a wide range of clients with their Lifetime Planning matters. This includes Wills, Mirror Wills, Trust Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorneys.

Shortlisted as Paralegal of the year in the 2022 South Wales Law Awards, Cherrie is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and has worked in the area of Wills and Probate for many years.

In 2016, Cherrie was given the CILEx Cardiff & South East Wales Branch ‘Student of the Year’ award. She is an active staff member who enjoys marketing and social events. Cherrie has helped to organise many charitable events and is a proud member of our Staff Community Group who help organise our staff events and play an important role with JCP’s Charity of Year.

Cherrie has a strong affiliation with Bedwas RFC, managing the Under 15's section whilst also being Secretary for their Mini and Junior Committee. Two roles that she thoroughly enjoys!

Cherrie is a Member Pioneer for her local Co op stores and is also a Dementia Friend.

Cherrie first joined JCP Solicitors in April 2017 when they merged with Glamorgan Law.
