Cherrie Powell

Hi, I am Cherrie. Based in Caerphilly, I am a Legal Advisor specialising in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney within JCP’s Lifetime Planning team.  I assist a wide range of clients with their Lifetime Planning matters, which includes Wills, Mirror Wills, Trust Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorneys.

Shortlisted as Paralegal of the Year in the 2022 South Wales Law Awards, I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and have worked in the area of Wills and Probate for many years. In 2016, I was given the CILEx Cardiff & South East Wales Branch ‘Student of the Year’ award.

I am an active team member who enjoys marketing and social events. I have helped to organise many charitable events, and I am a proud member of our Staff Community Group helping to organise our staff events and playing an important role in supporting JCP’s Charity of the Year.  I am also a workplace Mental Health Champion. 

I have a strong affiliation with Bedwas RFC managing the Under 16s team, a role that I have done for many years and one that I thoroughly enjoy.  I am a Dementia Friend and a board member of Caerphilly Business Club.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our two children and two dogs.
