As a key part of the Rural Practice team, Beverley specialises in Wills and Probate for our agricultural clients. She deals with complex tax advice as well as estate and succession planning issues. Beverley has extensive experience in preparing various types of Wills and trusts and conducting the administration of estates and trusts.
Recommended by the Legal 500, Beverley has been admitted as a full member of STEP (Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners). STEP is a leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues. STEP members provide expert advice on how to comply with the often complex law and tax rules surrounding trusts, estates and inheritance and are the most experienced in those fields. Beverley passed all 4 modules of STEP – the Administration of Estates, Administration of Trusts, Estate and Trust taxation and Trust and Estate Accounting with a distinction.
Beverley joined JCP in 2006 as a trainee Solicitor. She had previously studied law at Cardiff University and completed her LPC at Cardiff Law School in 2005 for which she received the accolade the Highest Achiever of the Year. Beverley was awarded the STEP Excellence Award for the highest mark in the Administration of Estates November 2010 examination paper for England and Wales.
Beverley is a member of the Carmarthen Borough Law Society and Soroptimist International Swansea (including joint President of the group for 2014-2015). A Dementia Friend, Beverley is also an active member of Swansea’s Dementia Supportive Community which aims to improve the life of those living with dementia and their carers in Swansea.
