Trainee Solicitor (SQE) - Court of Protection

Abi's journey with JCP began during her undergraduate placement year in September 2021 when she joined the Court of Protection team. After gaining valuable experience, she returned to Swansea University in September 2022 to complete the third year of her Law degree whilst continuing to work part-time as a Legal Assistant in the team. Now, her dedication and hard work have led to the next exciting chapter in her career as a Trainee Solicitor.

Abi has a calm nature which is suited to this type of work and the client base. She particularly enjoys being able to help the team’s more vulnerable clients.

Abi graduated with a First Class Honors in Law in July 2023 from Swansea University and is currently studying an LLM in Legal Practice with the College of Legal Practice.

In her spare time, Abi likes going for walks with her dog, socialising with friends and volunteering. Abi has previously volunteered with Discovery Student Volunteering Service, Neath Port Talbot Youth Council and Swansea Bay University Health Boards Youth Advisory Panel. Abi is currently the Social Secretary for Swansea & District Junior Lawyers Division.
