Suffering From An Asbestos-Related Illness? Don’t Delay In Seeking Legal Advice

I have been diagnosed with an asbestos-related illness and I am thinking of making a claim, but I have some concerns. It all happened such a long time ago and I don't have any documents. How can I prove my claim and are there any risks to me bringing a claim?

This is the normal position and yet the vast majority of people's claims are still successful despite this.

As most clients have no documentary evidence relating to their asbestos exposure, what we often refer to as 'your evidence' in the claim, is a detailed statement. We will take this statement from you at the outset of the claim and, if necessary, update it as more things come to mind later on. In many cases, the court will accept your statement as sufficient proof of your asbestos exposure even if there is no documentary evidence in respect of this. However, we are sometimes also able to trace witnesses and documentary evidence on your behalf as we carry out our investigations.
