Home / Our People / Jayden McCann

Hi, my name is Jayden, and I am a Trainee Solicitor in our Inheritance and Trusts Disputes team based in our Carmarthen office.

I thoroughly enjoy working with my team, and assisting with the types of matters we work on. I chose to work for the firm due to its values and established reputation. I am always proud to say that I work at JCP Solicitors, not only for the work that takes place inside the firm for our clients, but also the work we carry out within our offices local and wider communities.

I studied my Undergraduate Law LLB, and Postgraduate LPC with a combined Master of Laws (LLM) at Swansea University, at the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law.

I first joined JCP in 2022 as an Undergraduate Legal Assistant gaining experience in Business Support, Marketing, Medical Negligence and elements of Personal Injury. This was my first legal role, and it allowed me to experience and appreciate both the legal and business aspects of the firm.

Whilst completing my studies I worked for a Social Housing Organisation. The skills and experience I gained from this role have also assisted me whilst working in the legal industry. I have always been passionate about pursuing a career in law and look forward to qualifying as a solicitor in the near future.

I have recently undertaken training to be a Dementia Friend, to help learn more about the disease in general, and how to best help those who are living with it. Not only did I undertake this training to increase my knowledge and factor this within my work but also for personal reasons as Dementia has touched my own family.

In my free time I enjoy exploring new places, baking and spending time with loved ones.
