Trainee solicitor applications are now closed for 2024. Please keep an eye on this page and our social media for an update in the new year.

Our Trainee Solicitor positions offer an exciting and comprehensive training programme over two years.

We have a variety of seats to be undertaken in a range of our practice areas.

Why join the team at JCP Solicitors as a Trainee?

As a Trainee Solicitor of JCP Solicitors, you will experience three seats on a eight-month rotation, in a mixture of contentious and non-contentious areas.

We recognise the importance of training and development for our employees and during our Trainee Solicitor programme, you will work in a supportive environment alongside Directors, Associates and our dedicated Training Principle. In each seat, you will have the opportunity to both hone in on and develop a variety of skills that will maximise your potential and enable you to carry out your role with excellence. The quality and variety of our clients and specialities will give you exposure to an interesting and challenging workload, whilst learning the role of a Solicitor.

There are opportunities to get involved in networking and charitable activities alongside our various internal groups such as our D&I group, Environment & Sustainability group, Mental Health Champions, Staff Community Group, Learning Support group and many more.

You will also have access to a range of benefits including private healthcare, life assurance, free financial healthchecks, enhanced holiday pay, sick pay, cycle to work scheme and much more. Further details of our benefits can be found here.
