Hi, I’m Rebecca. I am an Associate Solicitor in the Family Law team at JCP Solicitors, with nine years’ experience in family law and over seven years as a qualified Solicitor. I advise clients across Swansea, South Wales, and England on a wide range of complex and sensitive family law matters, including divorce, high-net-worth matrimonial cases, child arrangement disputes, cohabitation disputes, and pre-nuptial agreements.

I am regularly instructed to handle high-value and sensitive family law cases and provide clients with practical, clear, and actionable advice, whether through Court proceedings, negotiation, or mediation. I am known for being solution-focused, approachable, and highly responsive, and I am committed to the constructive and fair resolution of family disputes, always aiming to achieve the best possible outcome for each client.

Academically, I studied Law at the University of Reading, achieving a 2:1, before completing my Legal Practice Course with distinction. I have been recognised in The Legal 500 as a ‘key lawyer’ and am part of the team nominated for the prestigious LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2024, as well as being the winning Family Law Team at the Welsh Law Awards 2024. As a team, JCP Solicitors is listed as a top two-tier firm for family law in Wales in The Legal 500 2026 listings, reflecting the firm’s commitment to providing outstanding legal support to families in Swansea, across Wales, and beyond.

I have particular expertise and have recently advised in matters involving the following issues:

  • Divorce and financial matters, including high-net-worth individuals, business assets, and public sector pension issues, including advice on the appropriate forms of pension sharing.
  • Complex child arrangement matters, including surrogacy matters, advising parents and grandparents where there are allegations of physical and emotional abuse and handling Pathfinder cases before the Family Court.
  • Cohabitation disputes, including Separation Agreements and property disputes.
  • Acting for vulnerable and emotional clients, including urgent Court Applications where safeguarding concerns are raised.

By combining legal expertise with empathy, I have built a reputation as one of the leading family law Solicitors in Swansea, helping families across Wales and England navigate emotionally difficult situations with clarity and confidence.
