Dafydd is an Undergraduate Legal Assistant, predominantly assisting Rhianydd Llewellyn-Thomas with Healthcare work while also supporting the Corporate and Commercial team generally. His role involves assisting legal experts with transactions which provides the opportunity for Dafydd with hands on learning and growth within the legal profession while working towards a qualification through the apprenticeship route.
Dafydd studied History, English, and Psychology at A-level, alongside independently completing the Welsh Baccalaureate. These subjects helped develop strong analytical skills and the ability to reason effectively.
Dafydd was keen to join #TeamJCP due to the firm’s values of sincere, consistent, accountable and respectful - as well as its clear investment in supporting apprentices through tailored training, mentoring, and a positive working culture. Dafydd was also drawn to JCP’s commitment to supporting local communities.
Outside of work, Dafydd plays rugby regularly for Pontyclun and values the teamwork and sense of community the sport brings. He has also worked as a barman at his local rugby club, enjoying the opportunity to support the community and meet a wide range of people. Dafydd also enjoys music, snowboarding, football, and is an avid Liverpool FC supported.
