#TeamJCP Community Sponsorship Scheme: Keeping It Local

Supporting local causes is incredibly important to us at JCP Solicitors, as we strive to enrich the communities in which we are based. We are committed to building long-term relationships that create lasting impact for communities, clients, and colleagues alike.

This reflects our values and our commitment to making a positive impact where we live and work. Alongside other community sponsorships which can be found here, part of our Work Life Strategy is to support our colleagues through our #TeamJCP Community Sponsorship Scheme on an annual basis.

Through this scheme, we commit to donations and sponsorship, supporting a range of community groups and charitable causes that our team members and their families are involved in.

Hayley Davies, CEO at JCP Solicitors, said: “It is always wonderful to see the applications come through for our #TeamJCP Community Sponsorship Scheme, giving our team the opportunity to directly support the causes close to their hearts.

“From sports team sponsorships to recipe books for foodbanks, it’s always a privilege to give back and it really makes a difference within our colleagues’ communities.

“Internal applications are welcome every year, giving our colleagues the chance to champion a charity or organisation that they really feel would benefit from our help, and we are always happy to get involved.”

Whilst JCP supports a number of groups, clubs and teams through strategic partnership, the following organisations benefited directly through our #TeamJCP Community Sponsorship Scheme during our 2024-2025 financial year:

  • Pontardulais-based volunteer-run charity, Positive Vibes Boxing and Wellness Academy, by providing funding which allowed their assistant coach to undertake coaching courses to gain the knowledge and skills required to teach the students.
  • Shirt sponsors of Swansea Barbarians RFC touch rugby team, enabling the team to have new kits for the 2025 season.
  • Provided J P Dance Company in Swansea with new jackets for all students for their June 2025 show.
  • Supporting Swansea’s Rockspur Bluebells with sponsorship to allow the running of Huddle sessions, which is a safe space for the girls to play, train, and build confidence.
  • Providing Friends of Nurston Park in Rhoose with essential funds to put towards regenerating the park into a community hub.
  • Providing the Gwaelod Rangers U7 Football Team with rain jackets to keep them warm and dry throughout the season.
  • Player sponsorship of Aled Roberts, Fly Half for Felinfoel Rugby Club’s 1st Team in Llanelli.
  • Contribution towards Swansea Schools Football Association U12s team, which helped to fund training sessions at the Olchfa School 4G pitch in Swansea, giving young players a top-quality space to grow their skills and confidence.
  • Sponsorship of water bottles and beanie hats for Skewen Rugby Club U7s team.
  • Worked with Prendergast CP School, where 25 pupils combined their recipes from an Urdd competition to create a recipe book that could be printed and sold to raise essential funds for Big Bocs Bwyd foodbank.
  • Sponsors of the Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr Boys Senior Rugby XV team, to help fund kits and equipment and back the team as they continue competing in top-level school rugby.

Having just opened applications for the 2025 – 2026 Scheme we are looking forward to supporting more local initiatives that our colleagues are involved with over the next 12 months.

If you would like to apply for sponsorship or funding for your group or society, we also support other groups, teams and societies separately to this fund as part of our marketing budget. Please email marketing@jcpsolicitors.co.uk
