JCP Solicitors Advises On Major International Partnership For Macron And Cricket South Africa

JCP Solicitors is delighted to have advised on the recently announced partnership between Macron, the international sportswear manufacturer, and Cricket South Africa.

Andrew Meech, Director and Joint Head of Commercial Litigation and Sports Law specialist, acted for the sportwear giant in the deal. This represents the latest Macron deal for JCP Solicitors, having advised Macron on a number of high profile matters over the last decade including sponsorships with Crystal Palace, the Welsh Rugby Union, Connacht Rugby and World Rugby.

The agreement between Macron and the South African Cricket Federation covers the supply of technical sportwear to all the national teams fielded by Cricket South Africa for the next five years. With the Cricket World Cup taking place in South Africa 2027, this partnership is set to further elevate Macron across the international sporting stage.

In addition to the partnership with the South African national team, the sportwear brand is the technical partner of Cricket West Indies and of the cricket federations of Ireland and Italy.
