William joined JCP Solicitors as a Business Administration Support Apprentice within the File Opening Team and is based at the firm's Swansea office. In his role, William supports the legal teams by opening new files and assisting with onboarding processes, helping to ensure matters can progress smoothly and efficiently. Alongside his work, he is studying towards a Level 3 Paralegal qualification with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is committed to following the apprenticeship pathway with the goal of qualifying as a solicitor.
A fluent Welsh and English speaker, William attended Ysgol Caer Elen in Pembrokeshire before progressing to Pembrokeshire College, where he studied Economics, Law and History at A-level, alongside an AS-level in Biology. William was attracted to JCP Solicitors by the firm's strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal services and its work with a variety of sports organisations. While he is currently gaining valuable experience across different areas of the firm, he has a particular interest in Corporate and Commercial law and hopes to specialise in this area in the future.
Before joining JCP Solicitors, William gained experience through a summer role in Tenby, where he developed strong time management skills and a hardworking approach while working to strict deadlines. He believes these experiences have helped prepare him for a career in the legal profession.
Outside of work, William enjoys football, badminton and running, as well as attending concerts and watching films. A keen traveller, he has visited 18 countries and is currently learning Italian.
