Souiful specialises in all aspects of Commercial Property law, offering expert legal advice to both private individuals and corporate clients. His practice covers a broad spectrum of commercial property matters, including leases, licences, lease extensions, financing arrangements and the acquisition and disposal of business premises.
He also provides specialist commercial property support to the firm’s Corporate and Commercial team, advising on the real estate aspects of large‑scale corporate transactions and business deals. This includes handling the property components of mergers, acquisitions, restructures and other high‑value commercial matters.
Souiful has significant experience acting for both landlords and tenants across a variety of sectors, including office, licensed, industrial, healthcare and retail properties.
He is based in the firm’s Swansea office.
Souiful read Law in Central London and qualified as a Lawyer in 2009 with a specialist property law firm in Cardiff. He then spent several years working in-house, where he held roles such as Head of Legal Services, Legal Director and General Counsel. Prior to joining JCP Solicitors, Souiful was a Senior Partner and Head of the Property Law Department at a long-established law firm in Port Talbot.
Fluent in Bengali, Hindi, Sylheti and Urdu, Souiful can communicate with a diverse client base and offer expert guidance and tailored solutions on complex property transactions.
Souiful was recently awarded a Distinction in the Law Society’s Client Care Microcredential course, earning a Digital Accreditation in recognition of his achievement. The course explored key aspects of client care with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and best practice within the legal profession.
Outside of work, Souiful is a dedicated father of three. He is actively involved with several charitable organisations and currently sits on the Board of Management of the largest mosque in Wales.
