Hi, I’m India, an Associate Solicitor in the Lifetime Planning team at JCP Solicitors, supporting clients across the firm’s Swansea and Carmarthen offices.
I advise on a wide range of Lifetime Planning matters, including Probate, the Administration of Estates, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. I am committed to providing clear, practical advice, delivered with sensitivity and care, particularly when clients are facing emotionally difficult or complex situations. My aim is to guide clients through each step of the process in a way that feels manageable and reassuring, helping them feel confident that their affairs are being handled professionally and with compassion.
I graduated from Swansea University with a 2:1 degree in Law in 2022, before continuing my studies there and completing the Legal Practice Course in 2023. I then spent three years at a high street firm, where the majority of my training contract was dedicated to Lifetime Planning work. I qualified as a Solicitor in March 2026 and joined JCP Solicitors at the same time.
During my time at Swansea University, particularly throughout the Covid pandemic, I volunteered with Age Cymru as part of the HOPE project. This involved supporting older individuals who had no family members to rely on during an especially isolating period, an experience which reinforced my commitment to working in a client-focused and empathetic way.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the Welsh countryside and the beautiful Gower coastline, staying active, travelling abroad, and spending time with friends and family.
