Ilyas is a Business Support Assistant at JCP Solicitors, providing administrative support across the business and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations.
A graduate of Swansea University, Ilyas achieved a 2:1 in Law and developed a broad interest in a range of legal subjects, including Tort, Employment Law, and Law, Science and Technology. During his time at university, he embraced student life, built lasting connections, and was honoured to serve as Treasurer of the Swansea University Law Society for the 2025/26 academic year.
Proud of his Pakistani and Kashmiri heritage, Ilyas was drawn to JCP Solicitors through the firm's strong links with Swansea University's Law Society, its commitment to supporting aspiring legal professionals, and its excellent reputation across Swansea and South Wales.
Prior to joining JCP, Ilyas gained valuable customer service experience through a number of retail roles, developing strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
Outside of work, Ilyas enjoys playing sports with friends, reading a wide variety of books, with particular interests in philosophy, self-development and biographies. He also enjoys reading manga and is always keen to learn from people and experiences from different walks of life.
