Hi, I’m Emily, and I joined JCP Solicitors in June 2024 as a Legal Assistant in the Court of Protection team.
I graduated with a Second Class Honours, Division I, in Law (LLB) from Swansea University. I then went on to complete my Master’s degree (LLM) and achieved a Commendation in the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law in Manchester.
I thoroughly enjoy working with a well-respected team, supporting a wide range of clients, and developing my expertise further in a collaborative and client-focused environment. I previously worked in a different law firm in their Court of Protection team, which gave me valuable experience and has put me in a strong position to understand and meet the needs of JCP’s client base.
I was drawn to JCP Solicitors because of its excellent reputation, its supportive and inclusive culture, and its strong commitment to community involvement. The firm’s focus on professional development was also a key factor in my decision to join.
Earlier this year, I ran the Swansea Half Marathon to support Swansea University’s Making Strides for Mental Health campaign. Funds raised go toward suicide prevention.
