Hi, I'm Emily, and I work within the Court of Protection team at JCP Solicitors. Having accepted a Training Contract with the firm, I am excited to continue developing my career as a future Court of Protection solicitor.
I graduated from Swansea University with an LLB Law degree before completing my LPC with Integrated Master's (LLM) at The University of Law, Manchester. Prior to joining JCP, I gained experience within another Court of Protection team, which strengthened my passion for supporting vulnerable clients and their families.
I enjoy working closely with clients, families and professionals to help navigate the challenges that can arise when managing a person's affairs. What I find most rewarding about Court of Protection work is the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's lives and provide practical support when it is needed most.
I was drawn to JCP because of its strong reputation, supportive culture and commitment to both its people and the communities it serves. These values closely align with my own, and I am proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for its clients.
Outside of work, I am passionate about supporting charitable causes and giving back to the local community. I have taken part in fundraising events for mental health and disability charities, including running half marathons to raise awareness and vital funds for organisations that make a real difference to people's lives, Such as Cerebral Palsy Cymru and Swansea University's Making Strides for Mental Health campaign.
