Bethan is the People and Culture Manager at JCP Solicitors, supporting colleagues across the firm and helping to shape a positive and engaging workplace culture. With almost 20 years of experience across a range of industries, she brings extensive expertise in HR, employee relations, and people-focused initiatives. Her role centres on supporting colleagues throughout their career journey, fostering a strong workplace culture, and helping to ensure that JCP continues to be a great place to work.
A Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), Bethan has broad experience in generalist HR and employee relations. She has worked across professional services, manufacturing, and the background screening sector, gaining valuable insight into highly regulated environments and the importance of maintaining high standards.
Prior to joining JCP, Bethan spent almost nine years in Japanese automotive manufacturing, followed by three years within FMCG manufacturing and seven years in the background screening industry. These roles have equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of people management across complex and fast-paced organisations.
Bethan graduated from Cardiff University in 2008 with a BSc in Criminology and Sociology before completing a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2013. In 2023, she also qualified as a Mediator through Align Mediation, further strengthening her expertise in workplace relations and conflict resolution.
Having admired JCP for several years, Bethan was drawn to the firm’s strong values and commitment to treating people with integrity. She is particularly looking forward to being part of the #TeamJCP culture and supporting colleagues across the business.
Outside of work, Bethan enjoys travelling with her family, particularly exploring different states across the USA, and is a keen supporter of the Wales national football team.
