Hi, I am Beth, a Trainee Legal Assistant in the Court of Protection team at JCP Solicitors. Alongside my role, I am completing a CILEX apprenticeship through Gower College.
I thoroughly enjoy working within the Court of Protection team because no two days are the same. I find the work particularly rewarding and value knowing that the support we provide can make a positive difference to the people we work with and their families.
My role allows me to develop my legal knowledge and practical skills while continuing my studies. I am currently working towards my CILEX qualification, and my long-term goal is to qualify as a solicitor and continue building my career within the legal profession.
I am also a member of the SDJLD, which gives me the opportunity to connect with other junior professionals in the legal sector.
JCP Solicitors appealed to me because of its strong reputation and the opportunity to begin my legal career within an established business. Combining my studies with practical experience allows me to apply what I learn, develop professionally and gain a valuable understanding of working in the legal sector.
Outside of work, I enjoy running and keeping active, spending time with family and friends, and visiting new places.
