JCP Solicitors Welcomes New Employment Director
We are delighted to welcome Angela West in the role of Employment Director in the Commercial Litigation team.
Further strengthening our Commercial Litigation offering, Angela’s appointment makes her the fourth Director in this team. Angela joins Andrew Meech, Sophie Thomas, and David Owen, based at our headquarters. Since our 2025 recognition by industry bible The Legal 500 for Commercial Litigation, this latest appointment represents our continued investment in this area.
Angela joins JCP Solicitors from Bristol-based Davies & Partners, where she was Head of the Employment Department and previously a Legal Director. Her previous roles saw her gain extensive, specialist expertise in employment law, advising clients in complex cases across the UK.
With specialism in commercial settlements, employment tribunals, cases of unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, victimisation, breaches of contract, and highly sensitive employment law cases, Angela will provide expert legal advice to our clients and provide strong leadership for our team.
As an Employment Director at JCP, Angela will lead on employment matters and collaborate with fellow Directors in Commercial Litigation – alongside providing high-level corporate support for commercial deals.
Studying in Swansea and qualifying as a solicitor more than 24 years’ ago, Angela chose to specialise in employment law from early on in her career. She now joins JCP Solicitors to lead on employment matters collaborating with fellow Directors in the Commercial Litigation team as well as providing high level corporate support for commercial deals.
