2 Wish Cymru

We were proud to support 2 Wish as our Charity of the Year for 2021/2022. This incredible Welsh charity provides vital bereavement support to families, individuals, and professionals affected by the sudden loss of a child or young adult (aged 25 or under).

For one of our team members, this charity was a lifeline following the heart-breaking loss of her five-month-old son in 2014. At the time, there was little to no support available, highlighting a crucial gap in bereavement care. 2 Wish has worked tirelessly to ensure no family faces such a loss alone. Led by founder Rhian Mannings - whose own tragic experiences inspired the charity’s mission - 2 Wish has changed the landscape of bereavement support in Wales.

Our main fundraising activity throughout the year was taking on the Welsh 3 Peaks challenge in May 2022, where Directors Emma Gilroy and Chris Shaw, along with 30 friends, climbed Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan in just 24 hours. Alongside this, we raised money through smaller initiatives such as Christmas Jumper Day. This combined with our unclaimed client balances meant we were able to raise £7,134.51 for 2 Wish.
