JCP Solicitors Backs Two Iconic Cycling Events In Wales

This May, keen cyclists from across Wales and beyond will be taking on the ‘CARTEN100’ Cardiff to Tenby bike ride, and the JCP Solicitors | Tour of Pembrokeshire.

JCP Solicitors is proud to support both road races, which put cyclists through their paces in epic fundraising challenges.

The CARTEN 100-mile bike ride begins in the Welsh capital and takes riders over the sloping climbs, country lanes and coastal roads that lead to the finish line in Tenby. Taking place on 9th May, the CARTEN100 welcomes all levels of riders.

The JCP Solicitors | Tour of Pembrokeshire starts in the city of St Davids, sending cyclists through Pembrokeshire’s stunning landscapes and the rolling Preseli hills. On 23rd May, competing riders will benefit from chip timings and live results.

Ian also shared his advice for those training to take part. Ian continued: “If you are training for a cycle race, it is important to know how to stay safe while out on your bike.

“Make sure you regularly service your equipment and always wear a helmet, staying aware of vehicle blind spots when you are sharing the road.

“Also, be sure to look ahead for drain covers, potholes, gulleys, speed bumps, debris in the toad, parked cars, and other cyclists, drivers or pedestrians. Road safety doesn’t happen by accident; it’s vital to feel prepared and know how to stay safe when using the roads.”
