Tessa joined JCP in September 2017 as part of her training contract and is now based at our Swansea office specialising in Commercial Property transactions for both commercial and private clients having qualified as an Associate Solicitor in September 2019.
Tessa graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a 2:1 in English and European Law in 2016. As part of her degree, she also had the opportunity to travel and study abroad at the University of Copenhagen. After graduating from Queen Mary, Tessa then went on to study the LPC Course at Cardiff University before joining JCP Solicitors.
Tessa qualified into our Commercial Property department in September 2019 having completed the final seat of her training contract within the team. Tessa has experience in commercial sale and purchase transactions along with advising on leases and licences of both commercial and residential properties and refinance transactions in addition to advising both commercial and private clients.
Tessa undertook training in 2020 to become a Dementia Friend. A Dementia Friend learns more about what it is like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action.
Tessa has been a committee member of the Swansea Junior Lawyers Division, where she plays a key role in organising networking events for junior lawyers in the Swansea area.
Outside of work Tessa thoroughly enjoys to travel, spend quality time with family and friends, and stays active through a variety of sport such as netball and golf.
