Jean started work at JCP in August 2017 as a legal secretary supporting the Director of Lifetime Planning in South East Wales, assisting with work relating to Wills, LPAs, Probate and Court of Protection Applications.
Committed to keeping her skills live and up to date, Jean has attended and completed various in-house training courses. She is ready and willing to provide help to others within the team and other business functions of the office when required to do so. Jean is keen to be an ambassador of JCP and readily volunteers to participate in local Community Engagement Events.
Jean is a Business Studies graduate, who has gained Part 1 of the ILEX qualification, both of which she achieved as a mature student whilst working and raising her family. She has also succeeded in obtaining ILM Level 5 Understanding the Management Role.
Jean’s extensive work history consists of working in the Public Sector including 18 years legal administrative and executive roles in a National Public Sector Law firm before moving to the Private Sector.
Jean undertook training in 2019 to become a Dementia Friend. A Dementia Friend learns more about what it is like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action.
Jean is totally committed to her family and away from work she enjoys spending time with them. She is also a keen walker (having recently conquered Pen y Fan), enjoys going to the theatre and cinema, eating out and travelling.
