Clarissa Dunwoody-Kneafsey

Legal Assistant - Residential Property

Clarissa joined JCP as a Legal Assistant in September 2018 and has worked in the area of Residential Conveyancing since this time. In our Fishguard office, Clarissa predominantly assists with sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.

Clarissa completed her Law LLB at the University of Exeter and is currently working at JCP whilst studying for her Masters in Law, combined with the Legal Practice Course, at Swansea University. Clarissa has also secured a Training Contract with us here at JCP Solicitors, commencing in September 2020.

Clarissa’s interest in the legal system stemmed from her personal experience of Family Law at a young age. Throughout her years in school, Clarissa’s interest in the legal system blossomed as she endeavoured to gain as many work experience placements as possible.

Clarissa was later selected by the Lord Edmund Davies Legal Educational Trust, as one of only eight students in Wales, to spend a week at Gray’s Inn Chambers in London, gaining invaluable experience in the UK’s highest courts, witnessing cases and meeting with prestigious Judges.

Outside of work, Clarissa enjoys retreating to her family’s farm in Pembrokeshire and is a keen horse rider. Additionally, Clarissa spends much of her time at her local gym and spa and enjoys going along to support her partner at rugby games on the weekends.
