Ceri joined the Residential Property team at JCP in July 2021 having qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2014, and has worked in the area of Residential Conveyancing since 1997. Ceri loves supporting her clients through what can be a very stressful time when buying or selling a home/ property.
Ceri has an extensive legal background, which began when Ceri worked in a legal firm in 1984 as an Office Junior and worked her way up to be Personal Assistant to a Family Solicitor. Since 1997, Ceri changed her focus solely to conveyancing which she thoroughly enjoys. Ceri was one of the initial two members of staff that founded Sam Hawking Property Lawyers in 2006, with the firm now hosting 23 members of staff. Ceri is also a member of the Society for Licensed Conveyancers.
Having had two members of her close family suffer from breast cancer, Ceri completed the Moon Walk – an overnight 26 mile walk around London – to raise important funds for Breast Cancer Research.
In her spare time, Ceri is an avid rugby fan at both club and international levels, enjoys reading and listening to music. Ceri loves to travel in the UK and abroad, but is also very happy at home in Port Talbot with her husband and two cats.
