Lunch and Learn: HR Services Workshop - Managing Stress in the Workplace - Cardiff

Stress is one of the biggest causes of absence from work within the UK. Natasha Johnston, HR Advisor, highlights the topic of stress at work and the complicated issues involved for both the employee and employer alike when managed incorrectly.

With this in mind it is important that you equip your organisation to spot the early signs and know how to support employees to overcome issues they may be facing before it becomes a stress-related absence.

The workshop will provide an overview of:

  • The negative impact stress at work can create including legal issues
  • Common mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Possible causes of stress in the workplace
  • How to spot stressed employees
  • Support mechanisms and best practice

This workshop is suitable for and open to:

Those dealing with HR and personnel issues in a business, both at managerial and assistant level.

These events allow for networking with others in similar roles, informal discussion with an expert in the field and the sharing of best practice with like-minded individuals.

This workshop will take place between 12:30pm - 2:00pm, is free of charge and will include a sandwich lunch.
