A Saundersfoot hotel was alive with the sound of fundraising on Friday, December 4th when singing star Connie Fisher spoke at a charity lunch.
More than 100 business people from the Pembrokeshire area gathered to hear The Sound of Music star, from Haverfordwest, address the Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Business Lunch at St Bride’s Hotel.
The event included a charity raffle, and £790 was raised for the Paul Sartori Foundation, Pembrokeshire’s only Hospice at Home Service.
The informal event was sponsored by JCP Solicitors, Pembrokeshire Tourism, Thomas Carroll and Ashmole and Co.
Betsan Powell, one of the Directors at Pembrokeshire based JCP Solicitors, said: “I’m very pleased we could give our support to this enjoyable networking event, which was open to everyone working in business in Pembrokeshire. Sociable events like this one are a very useful way of making valuable contacts in a relaxed setting and I am pleased those gathered were able to raise funds for a very worth cause too.”
Sandra Dade, from the Paul Sartori Foundation said: “We are very grateful to everyone involved in the Four Seasons Business Lunch for supporting the important work we do, providing hands on care, equipment loan and other vital service, directly in the homes of Pembrokeshire people living in the later stages of any life-limiting illness.”
The Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Business Lunch takes place four times a year and anyone who wants to go along can contact any of the four sponsors to be added to the mailing list.
