Why join the team at JCP as a Trainee?
Our Trainee Solicitor positions offer an exciting and comprehensive training programme over two years, with a variety of seats to be undertaken in a range of our practice areas. As a Trainee Solicitor of JCP Solicitors, you will experience four seats on a six month rotation, in a mixture of contentious and non-contentious areas.
We recognise the importance of training and development for our employees and during our Trainee Solicitor programme, you will work in a supportive environment alongside Directors, Associates and our dedicated Training Principal. In each seat, you will have the opportunity to both hone in on and develop a variety of skills that will maximise your potential and enable you to carry out your role with excellence. The quality and variety of our clients and specialities will give you exposure to an interesting and challenging work load, whilst learning the role of a Solicitor.
Alongside your Professional Skills Course, you will also have access to a range of in-house courses and will attend two appraisal meetings with the Training Principal at the middle and end of each seat. These meetings will enable you to review your progress and discuss future skills and objectives to ensure you get the best out of your training contract.
