Associate Solicitor (0-4 PQE) - Property Litigation - Location Flexible

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and driven Associate Solicitor or Legal Executive with 0- 4 years Post Qualification Experience to join our busy and well regarded Property Litigation team. This is an exciting position for an aspiring lawyer looking to develop a role with promising opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload and ideally be able to show experience of working in property litigation, commercial property and/or residential property. Whilst experience would be preferred, we welcome applicants from any background with experience in civil litigation and with the right attitude and drive to succeed.

This role will ideally be based in our Swansea office, but the successful candidate may also be required to work in our other offices on an occasional basis. However, we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.

The main responsibilities of the role will involve:

  • Effectively managing a varied caseload
  • Working collaboratively with a team of solicitors, legal assistants and secretaries, in order to achieve an excellent and effective client service
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professionals including attending business development and networking activities
  • Acting as an integral part of the team to ensure business targets are achieved and exceeded
  • The nature of this role will ideally suit a candidate with a confident personality who is comfortable with direct client contact and advocacy

The successful candidate should have:

  • Excellent administration and organisation skills
  • The ability to manage and prioritise a significant work load
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work at a highly professional level

The position will require you to work autonomously, using your own initiative. You should have exceptional interpersonal skills and an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate should also have:

  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and respond to requests promptly
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to work on own and as part of a team
