Christian Edwards joined JCP in 2008 from Cardiff-based law firm Berry Smith, taking up a role as partner in the Commercial Litigation team. Christian has significant experience in advising national organisations, SME’s and individuals in the field of construction projects, health and safety, employment and product liability matters.
Christian has also advised numerous companies involved in high value commercial contract disputes, in some cases with several million pounds at stake, and is fully versed in all forms of alternative dispute resolution. Christian counts companies from as far afield as the United Arab Emirates as clients.
Christian also has an ever growing sports law practice where expertise from throughout the firm is pooled. The team advises sporting teams and organisations on contractual and membership matters, individual players and officials on employment and disciplinary matters including claims for discrimination and breaches of natural justice. The team is lead adviser to the company that manages the Liberty Stadium in Swansea. Christian is a member of the British Association for Sport & Law.
