Richard joined JCP Solicitors as an Associate Solicitor in 2006, having qualified in 2005.
Richard specialises in Property Litigation and Contentious Probate/Trusts. He regularly advises both commercial and individual clients on a wide range of issues, including residential and commercial property disputes, public and private rights of way, adverse possession, boundary disputes, common/village green issues as well as Inheritance Act claims, disputes over wills and trusts, testamentary capacity issues and associated professional negligence.
Richard Howells is an Associate Member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) which is group set up to make sure that all specialist are at a high standard in this particular area of law.
In order to quaify for associate membership Richard had to pass a stringent and specialist 2-3 year diploma course, run by ACTAPS.
Richard is also a member of the Property Litigation Association.
