New Associate Solicitor, Sophie Thomas has been appointed to help support the growth in the Lender Services team at JCP Solicitors.

After qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2009, Sophie spent 18 months developing expertise in the niche areas of complex title rectification whilst at international law firm Eversheds.

Kevin O’Brien, Partner and Head of Lender Services at JCP, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Sophie to the firm, her appointment is a major boost to our expanding Lender Services team and we’re looking forward to seeing Sophie play a strategic role in the ongoing development of this sector. Sophie has a commercial client driven approach, is forward thinking and has a thorough understanding of the clients’ objectives."

Sophie has acted for lender clients in professional negligence claims against solicitors and valuers, and took part in a multi-party mediation.  She was also a part of a small team of lawyers dealing with multi-million pound mortgage fraud cases.

Miss Thomas, who is delighted to take up her new role said:
