Choosing Executors

Individual

handsAppointing an Executor is a very important part of making your Will. The executor is responsible for making sure that the instructions in your Will are carried out correctly and the estate is distributed property. Some of the tasks of an Executor can be onerous and require legal or financial expertise and can be very time consuming. It makes sense to appoint someone tactful, impartial and trustworthy. It is very important to ensure that the person you name as executor is willing and able to perform the task- a person who lives a long way away or may predecease you may therefore not be ideal. At JCP we have many years of experience in this role.
