Swansea University Undergraduate Placement Scheme

JCP Solicitors are offering two law students from Swansea University a twelve month paralegal placement commencing on 1st September 2012.

JCP Solicitors is one of Wales' leading law firms. Offering a range of services over a number of disciplines, the firm's diverse nature and well know personality, makes it one of the leading indigenous businesses in the Swansea area.

The two successful candidates will be offered paralegal positions primary dealing with private client and conveyancing legal work for the duration of twelve months. The placement positions are designed to give law students insight into the world of a solicitor, whilst offering them a salary and a valuable experience to put on their CVs.

Andrew Meech, now a qualified Commercial Litigation solicitor at JCP Solicitors, first came to the firm on the same placement scheme as an undergraduate.

Andrew said: “The experience I gained at JCP Solicitors was invaluable and it set me on course to where I am today. Not only did it give me a huge advantage in my career but it enabled me to focus on where I wanted to be at the end of my education.”

As a temporary placement scheme student you will be welcomed into the firm as an employee, and invited to join the firms football team, nights out, Christmas party and summer barbeque, enjoying all the benefits of being part of a close knit team.

In order to apply for the positions you must be a Law student at Swansea University, either in the second year of your degree or about to graduate.
